2. Principle

This website is deliberately designed to be data-minimal: it uses no cookies and requires no cookie banner. For audience measurement it relies solely on a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics, see section 4). No profiling or cross-site tracking takes place; apart from this analytics service no further external services are embedded, and fonts and all other resources are hosted locally.

3. Hosting and server log data

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes connection data for technical reasons (in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure stability and security (Art. 31 para. 1 revFADP; legitimate interest). Cloudflare may also process data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, in particular in the USA. Such transfers are based on recognised safeguards, in particular the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 4. Audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To improve our offering we collect statistical information about the use of this website using Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. A small client-side script is loaded (from static.cloudflareinsights.com) that collects aggregated metrics – such as pages viewed, referring website (referrer), approximate location (derived from the IP address without storing it), device type, browser and page-load performance metrics.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is deliberately privacy-friendly: it sets no cookies, stores no data in the browser, uses no fingerprinting and performs no cross-site tracking. The data is evaluated in aggregate; it does not allow us to identify individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of website usage (Art. 31 para. 1 revFADP; for visitors from the EU/EEA additionally Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). 5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details (email address, content of the message) to respond to your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data is only disclosed to third parties where this is necessary to provide our services (e.g. hosting), where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have given your consent.

7. Your rights

Under the revFADP you have, in particular, the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Please contact the address above to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Note for visitors from the EU/EEA (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the processing of your data, the above information applies accordingly. The legal bases are, in particular, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website and in a cookieless, statistical evaluation of website usage) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (handling of enquiries). You are entitled to the data subject rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. No EU representative pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR has been appointed: data processing in connection with this website is only occasional, does not include large-scale processing of special categories of data and is unlikely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons (exemption under Art. 27 para. 2 lit. a GDPR).
